Dr. John Melek is a dedicated physician whose primary focus lies in the intricate field of pain management. He possesses specialized expertise in addressing a range of musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular emphasis on spinal disorders and back pain. He also provides targeted treatments for sacroiliac joint pain, a common source of lower back discomfort, and various forms of shoulder pain, helping patients regain mobility and function in these critical areas.

Dr. Melek graduated from the University of Alexandria Medical School in Egypt, he then finished his General Surgery Residency, and completed a two-year Colorectal Fellowship. In the U.S., Dr. Melek completed an Internal Medicine residency at Mercy Hospital, affiliated with The University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Melek specialized in pain management and is a board certified pain management specialist.
